Positive Behaviour Support Initiative Parent & Carer Workshop (9 April 10am - 1pm)
ACD Tas are excited to be hosting this workshop which is designed to focus on young people who may be living in family environments and looks to explore issues such as the provision of positive behaviour support and the management of restrictive practices in such settings, providing families with an orientation to the research and core information about a approach in keeping with principles of positive behaviour support.

The Dear Dyslexic Foundation in partnership with Square Pegs and the NDCO program is excited to be hosting this interactive workshop, which will provide participants with the tools and skills they need to help make the learning pathway easier for students, with dyslexia and other learning disabilities and difficulties, who are in upper secondary school or entering TAFE or University.

Introductory ABA Workshop - Presented by Cassie le Fevre, Clinical Psychologist and Alex Haddad, Psychology Registrar
The workshop is designed for parents, teachers, teacher assistants, other professionals and students interested in working as therapy assistants, support workers or mentors. The workshop will provide basic training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), an empirically proven therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Cost: $70 for students and parents, $75 for professionals.
