Join the Outlier Artist Studio in partnership with Moonah Art Centre

They looking to find people who are already making art or can demonstrate a strong creative drive. People who, through their identity, lived experience or circumstance, have been excluded from participating in mainstream / tertiary visual arts education.

Support workers are welcome to accompany participants to this studio. High-quality art materials, tea/coffee, and lunch are provided.

They strongly encourage people/artists from the following groups to apply/participate including palawa/pakana, people who are Firsts Nations, people who are culturally and racially marginalised, people who are neurodiverse, people with a disability, people who are elderly, or people who have a lived experience of homelessness, incarceration, doing stigmatised jobs, family violence, significant illness (including mental illness), and trauma.

The studio will be at Moonah Art Centre on Wednesdays from 10am to 3pm during the terms below:
TERM 2: Wednesday July 26 – Wednesday 27 September
TERM 3: Wednesday October 18 – Wednesday 20 December

There will be an exhibition of selected work at the start of 2024.
