Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt has announced that Australians aged 12 and over who are NDIS recipients will be eligible to receive a Pfizer vaccine from this week.
Previously, children in this age group were only eligible if they had underlying health conditions or were of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent.
No details have yet been announced about how the vaccinations will be rolled out in Tasmania.
For more information or to book, contact the Tasmanian Public Health hotline on 1800 671 738 or use their book online facility.
