Eight ball is an individual or team sport played indoors on a specially designed table called a pool table. Participants hit balls with a stick, called a cue. The aim is to hit the balls into holes around the outside edges of the table, called pockets. The first player or team to pocket all of their balls, leaving the eight ball until last, is the winner.
