Tennis

 Quick Summary

Tennis is an outdoor sport mostly played in summer. Tennis is played with a racquet and tennis ball on a court. It can be played as an individual (singles), or in pairs (doubles). Players hit the ball back and forth over a net. One player wins a point when their opponent misses the ball or hits it into the net or out of the court lines. Tennis Australia embraces diversity and aims to make the sport welcoming, safe and inclusive for everyone. Real Tennis is an indoor version of tennis played with a smaller racquet and a cork ball. It can be played as an individual or in pairs, called doubles. Players use their racquets to hit the ball back and forth over a low net, and win a point if their opponent misses the ball or hits it out of the court. Skills practiced in Real Tennis include coordination, agility, balance and general fitness.
