The N.D.I.S. will provide funding for transport assistance if the person cannot use public transport without difficulty due to their disability. This funding allows providers to claim transport costs from your plan. Some rules apply to what type of activities and which providers the N.D.I.S. will fund, and you can check with your service provider or planner if you are unsure. There are three different levels of support the N.D.I.S. provides, with the highest level of support paid to people who are working, looking for work, or studying for at least 15 hours per week.
