From: 10:00 am To: 1:00 pm

28 November 2025

Ever had trouble finding an accessible toilet or parking space? You are not alone.

What’s Bugging You? Let’s Talk About It!

Disability Voices Tasmania (DVT) is launching Phase 1 of its Capacity Building for Advocacy Project—and community voices are the key to driving real change.

DVT regularly hears about challenges such as:

  • A lack of accessible car parks
  • Toilets that are dirty or unusable
  • Schools excluding children with disability
    …and many more.

This upcoming workshop focuses on Understanding the Disability Landscape and invites participants to share what matters most to them:

  • Are essential services accessible?
  • Is transport reliable and inclusive?
  • Are people treated with respect and dignity?
  • Is there enough meaningful work available?

The lived experiences shared will help shape practical solutions for a more inclusive Tasmania.

Join in person or online—this fully accessible workshop is designed to empower participants with knowledge, collaboration, and advocacy tools.
