ACD Tas MyTime’s impact – Connected, Confident and Supported

ACD Tas are pleased to share the newly released 2026 MyTime Impact Report, which highlights the significant difference facilitated peer support groups are making for parents and carers across Australia.

The report confirms that MyTime helps parents and carers feel more connected, confident and supported, with benefits growing over time as participation continues. MyTime creates impact through safe, inclusive and member-led groups.

Key findings:
• 94% of members feel listened to and understood.
• 92% are satisfied with the support they receive through MyTime.
• 94% say the information and support they receive helps them care for their child.
• Parents report feeling less isolated and developing a stronger sense of belonging.
• Participation helps build self-care, self-compassion, hope and optimism for the future.
• Parents who stay connected with MyTime report increased confidence in their parenting and stronger connections within their community.

The report is based on 604 responses from 3500 registered MyTime members across Australia and demonstrates the lasting value of safe, inclusive and facilitated peer support.

The MyTime program is currently funded by the Australian Government until 30 June 2027.

Next year, we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of this important national program and continue advocating for its future so that families can benefit from MyTime for many years to come.
