🔵 Take the Time for Co-Design – ACD Tas joins advocacy network to protect NDIS Participants’ Safety and well-being 🔵

Did you know that ACD Tas is a proud member of Disability Advocacy Network Australia (DANA)?

As part of this national network, we stand alongside advocacy organisations across the country to champion the rights, voice, and inclusion of people with disability. The NDIS is meant to empower and support people with disability, but recent proposals for independent assessments and other reforms risk undermining those very principles. Through DANA, we are calling for true co-design — ensuring people with lived experience are at the heart of decisions that affect them. This statement urges the government to slow down and engage with the community properly to protect participants’ safety, wellbeing, and choice.
