Knia Maps targets accessibility gap with crowd‑sourced mapping app

Knia Maps, an Australian startup, is developing a mapping platform focused on accessibility, often described as a “Google Maps of accessibility.

The app allows users, businesses, and governments to share detailed information about venues—such as wheelchair access, parking, and restrooms—and combine the data into one place.

Founded by disability advocate Nikhil Autar, the project is currently in beta and aims to expand globally, helping people plan trips and navigate public spaces with confidence.
