Research Study: Experiences of siblings of people with Neurodevelopmental conditions, living in regional and remote areas of Australia.

Students at Curtin University are conducting a study to explore the experiences of siblings of people with Neurodevelopmental conditions, living in regional and remote areas of Australia.

They seeking siblings who:
• Have a sibling with a Neurodevelopmental condition (for example, Down syndrome, autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, etc.)
• Are aged 16-30 years old, and
• Are currently living, or have previously lived, in a regional or remote area of Australia

They hope the results of this research will allow us to add to the knowledge we have about the experiences of being a sibling of a person with a Neurodevelopmental condition, especially when living in remote and regional Australia.

The study involves an online questionnaire consisting of 43 questions and will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Curtin University Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) has approved this study (HREC number: HRE2024-0296).
