The City of Hobart Access Map now has an Interactive Tour feature.
You can view the tour by visiting the webpage: https://accessmap.hobartcity.com.au/
The guided tour provides simple, step by step instructions on how to navigate the map, find key accessibility information and tips for how to tailor your experience.
The tour is designed to be on the screen for a first-time user. If you can’t see it when you open the map you can start the tour by using the question icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
The reason for the inclusion of the interactive tour is to support accessibility, reduce anxiety and uncertainty, enhance the user experience, and encourage independence. This feature was an action from the community engagement process completed as part of the launch in October 2025.
We welcome continued feedback about the user experience.
