Boccia is a bowling sport developed for wheelchair users. The object of the game is to roll, throw, kick or use a ramp device to propel a leather ball to land as close as possible to the target ball (called the jack). Boccia is played recreationally at local clubs, and competitively at national and international level. Boccia is also a Paralympic sport.
