Netball is a team sport that can be played indoors or outdoors. Each team has attackers, who try to score goals and defenders, who try to stop the other team from scoring goals. Players pass the ball to each other to work the ball up the court to a designated goal shooter. The goal shooter or goal attack attempts to throw the ball through an elevated hoop or net to score a goal. Netball is played by all female or mixed gender teams.
